![]() Try some natural light portraits, by the window. You already have some good photos from the camera. I agree with the Ben Cooper about lenses, try to find a Minolta MD 28mm lens, it might cost you $20 in excellent condition, ebay. You could join the Minlota groups and ask there, or read for specifics. I have an old Minolta too, amongst others. Have some lenses that I bought as a bargain lately, and you would see how sharp and nice lens <- check on this links the shots that Ive made with my Minolta X-700 and XG-M with diferent lenses ![]() It's an old manual Minolta camera - the good news is that it'll take any of the old manual Minolta lenses that are now very cheap on eBay - look for lenses labelled MC or MD, avoid anything with autofocus. Well, you're not going to get a new lens for that camera -) I'm new to SLR camera so any information would be helpful thanks. We were looking into getting a new lens but I'm not really sure what to look for or what would work on this camera. ![]() ![]() I have an old Minolta XG7 film slr my dad gave me.
